About The Good Medicine Center
A connected, vibrant community of diverse individuals.
Providing a space and tools to connect with yourself, the natural world, and with the vibrant life you are meant to lead.

Our Story
The Good Medicine Center was born from a simple but profound question: “What is my medicine?”
For founder Samantha MacKenzie, that question led to a lifelong journey through wild landscapes, ancient teachings, and the quiet wisdom of the body. Mentored by the lineage of Stalking Wolf and Tom Brown Jr., Samantha learned that healing isn’t complicated - it is a return. A return to the rhythms of nature, to the voice of intuition, and to the truths that live deep within our bones.
The Good Medicine Center exists to offer this same return to others. Through somatic healing, bodywork, nature connection and vision quests, we guide people back to their own innate wholeness. Our work is grounded in the belief that the answers we seek are within and all around us - we just need the right space, tools and support to remember how to listen.
Here, healing is not something “done to you,” but a collaborative, transformative journey. Every session, class and retreat is designed to reconnect you with yourself, the land, and the life you’re meant to live.
Our foundation is built on simplicity, compassion, connection, and empowerment. These values shape everything we do - from the way we hold space to the programs we create. Our goal is not only to offer healing but to equip you with practical, lifelong skills that build resilience, awareness, and freedom.
This is good medicine - medicine for the body, the heart, the mind, spirit and the earth. Medicine that helps you discover who you are. Medicine that transforms lives, one breath, one moment, one choice at a time.

Values
-
Empowerment
-
We believe true healing begins when individuals remember their own strength and wisdom. Every experience is designed to offer tools and guidance that help people walk their own path with clarity and confidence.
-
-
Simplicity
-
The most profound truths are the simplest, as simplicity is the language of the earth. By carving away dogma, superstition, religion, and tradition, we find at the core teachings that work for everyone, no matter their background.
-
-
Change
-
Healing is a process of transformation, a constant unfolding. We honor change as both teacher and ally, guiding our clients through the cycles of life with grace, adaptability, and trust in what is emerging.
-
-
Embodiment
-
We believe wisdom must be lived, not just spoken. We practice what we teach - grounding in our own curiosity and awareness - so that every interaction is an authentic reflection of the work we offer.
-
-
Compassion
-
We meet each person with presence, empathy, and respect, creating spaces where they feel seen, supported, and safe to explore their healing journey.
-
-
Diversity
-
We celebrate the richness of our differences - in backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives - knowing that diversity deepens our collective resilience and understanding. Every voice, every story, and every body is welcome here.
